STRGY AI, a Helsinki-based startup, has raised €1m ($1.1m) in angel funding to expand StrategyOS, its AI-powered platform for tracking whether corporate strategy is actually being carried out day to day.
The company announced the round on 12 August. The funding was backed by a private investor base spanning the UK, Norway, Switzerland and Finland, with additional equity participation from Innovestor’s Angel CoFund and non-dilutive support from Business Finland.
STRGY AI plans to use the money to expand its commercial team, invest in product development and fuel growth, with additional enterprise deployments and product launches planned for later this year.
StrategyOS is designed to close a gap many organisations struggle with: knowing whether strategic plans are actually being executed, rather than just documented.
The platform gives leadership teams continuous visibility into how day-to-day work connects to strategic priorities, flags execution drift early, and automates board-ready reporting. It is aimed at Chiefs of Staff, Heads of Strategy and chief operating officers at mid-market organisations.
Samuli Bäck, STRGY AI’s co-founder and chief executive, said the platform was built to address a common blind spot in leadership teams. “That’s the gap we built StrategyOS to close — giving leadership teams an always-on view of execution, instead of finding out weeks or months later that priorities have drifted,” he said.
The platform is already being used by early customers across consumer brands and private equity-backed companies, with additional enterprise deployments under way. The company operates across Northern and Western Europe.
STRGY AI was founded in 2026 by Samuli Bäck and Anton Skarp, alongside Oskari Listomaa, Head of Agentic Systems, and Niko Savander, Head of Agentic Design.
One of the round’s investors, Maryne Lemvik, said she invested after using the product herself.
“Having led international businesses and served on several boards, I’ve seen that strategy execution is often the weakest link, while leadership teams spend far too much time pulling together information for board reporting,” she said, adding that StrategyOS’s ability to turn strategy into an ongoing discipline rather than a periodic exercise was what convinced her to back the company.
STRGY AI described the international makeup of its backers as notable for a young Finnish company at this stage, framing it as a sign of how broadly demand for AI-driven strategy tools is resonating across the region.
